More about working at LGSS Law Ltd
LGSS Law Ltd is a ‘social enterprise law firm’ jointly owned by three large local authorities and with a client base of in excess of one hundred client organisations across the public and not for profit sectors including Local Authorities, Health Bodies and Charities. Formed in 2010 from the merger of Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire County Council legal teams. In April 2015 we converted to an ‘Alternative Business Strcuture’ (ABS) and became one of the first publicly owned law firms in England. Through subsequent merger and expansion we are now one of the largest shared legal services in the country.
The team is well resourced and utilises the latest in Information Technology to enhance efficiency and communication. We pride ourselves on being a legal practice where Lawyers wanting to focus on the public and not for profit sectors are able to achieve their full potential and provide clients with high quality, comprehensive and affordable legal services. We have offices in Huntingdon, Cambridge, Northamptonshire and Befordshire (Shefford) and work flexibly across these locations with the benefit of remote working to provide a high quality service to all of our clients.
